Richard P. Jessup was born in New York in 1909. In Rye his family lived on Loudon Woods and were members of the Presbyterian Church. Richard enlisted in 1942 and served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Birth: Mar. 2, 1909 Death: Jul. 27, 1954 Mr. Jesup's obituary is courtesy of Verity243 of Texas, USA: RICHARD P. JESUP Richard Pepperell Jesup, of 911 San Pedro, died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was a resident of San Antonio for 13 years. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. M. Jesup of Rye, NY; and friends, Mrs. George Surkey and Mrs. James Waterbury both of San Antonio.
